Job summary

HCSC is seeking a senior strategist to support both short-term and long-term planning across divisions. You will collaborate with leadership, translate business plans into analytics, and ensure alignment with divisional strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and 5 years experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry or consulting.
• Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry or consulting.
• 7 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry or consulting.

• Identify tools to assess and track strategic opportunities.
• Provide end to end report development, interfacing between internal business and technical or analytical teams.
• Support a governance structure with leadership for evaluating strategic opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to respond to divisional needs and align with overall HCSC strategy.
• Interact with team members and others to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, discuss analytics, and share findings.
• Maintain working knowledge of systems, databases and data sources for informed analytic requests.

This role assists with all divisional short-term and long-term planning. The consultant assists leadership teams on executing the business plan, strategies, analytics and data needs for the division and functional areas. The consultant works with matrixed business areas to ensure alignment with divisional strategy. The consultant documents and conducting analysis of competitive and market information for the division and ensuring integration with overall strategy.

• Identify tools to assess and track strategic opportunities,
• Provide end to end report development, interfacing between various internal business and technical or analytical teams to achieve goals and desired outcomes.
• Support a governance structure with leadership for the evaluation of strategic opportunities.
• Identification of opportunities to respond to divisional needs and opportunities, understanding overall HCSC strategy.
• Interact both one-on-one and in group settings with team members and others to identify issues, gather data, brainstorm, discuss analytic approach, and share findings.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of systems, databases and sources to make informed analytical requests, data gathering techniques, and analytical interpretations.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree and 5 years experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development, in health care industry OR consulting OR Master/Professional Degree and 4 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry OR consulting OR 7 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.
• Project management skills, including strong organization, prioritization and problem solving skills; strong oral, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; ability to accept direction and feedback
• Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.
• Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends
• Experience managing complex corporate projects in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization, problem solving, communication skills including presentation and group facilitation experience.
• Experience interacting with staff/management across multiple departments at various levels in the organization;
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Presentation and group facilitation experience.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, with strong Excel skills.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Masters Degree.
• Managed care or payer or benefit design experience.

Compensation: $61,500.00 - $136,100.00
