Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a store leadership candidate to provide direction during peak hours (3p-7p weekdays; 11a-7p weekends) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. You will partner with store and department leaders to cultivate a high-performance culture, ensure associates are trained, and uphold company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

The role requires strong communication, stress management, and basic math skills, with preferred experience

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Any produce or retail experience is a plus.
• Any management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership support and direction during primetime hours to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Partner with store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture.
• Ensure associates are trained and equipped to deliver a consistently great experience for Every Customer, Every Time.
• Train and develop associates, participate in performance appraisals, and promote a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Ensure merchandising standards, promotions, inventory, and safety procedures are followed.
