Duties include using orbital and hand sanding, masking surfaces, changing sandpaper, applying putties, and performing rework as needed. This position offers hourly pay of $19.40–$21.50 plus a $2.00 shift differential and $1.00 paint pay, plus strong benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Schedule and Pay:

2 nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 3:15 PM - 1:30 AM ; Friday & Saturday OT hours required as needed

Salary Grade B

$19.40 - $21.50

Additional $2.00 Shift Differential

Additional $1.00 Paint Pay

Job Summary:

The Primer Sander is responsible for sanding cabinet components, reworking as needed and advancing components into the next phase of processing.

Job Duties:

• Uses orbital sanders and sands by hand the profiles as well as edges of cabinet components as required.
• Tapes off areas of cabinet components to protect surfaces as needed.
• Changes sand paper on sanding equipment as necessary as well as oils sanders as needed.
• Applies putties to fix blemishes.
• Performs rework on cabinet components as required.
