Austin Commercial is hiring a Prime Contracts Manager for the Phoenix, AZ division. The role focuses on managing prime contract administration, coordinating with Project Directors and Managers, and ensuring timely compliance with contract terms and submittals.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD and have 5+ years of post-award experience in construction contract administration, demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• JD required for this position.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-award contract administration experience in construction or similar.
• Superior written and oral communication and people management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to multiple demands and priorities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and management of prime contract action plan to ensure compliance.
• Prepare notices and related documentation for Owner issuance by Project Director.
• Support input from Project Managers and subcontractors for data supporting prime contract communications.
• Review Owner correspondence and assign actions to team members with timely responses.
• Attend progress review meetings and publish minutes with action items.
