The position requires exceptional writing, media relations skills, and the ability to manage reputational risk while coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience developing and leading successful communications campaigns.
• Experience in media relations and issues management.
• Experience serving as an on-the-record spokesperson.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and own the end-to-end communications strategy for Prime Air.
• Serve as a senior on-the-record spokesperson for Prime Air with top-tier media.
• Shape long-form narratives for media, digital, and social channels.
• Lead proactive and reactive media moments with high judgment.
• Build forward-looking communications plans for developments and issues.
• Advise senior leaders and align stakeholders on communications objectives.
• Develop relationships with reporters and editors at national outlets.
• Write and approve external messaging on sensitive topics.
• Orchestrate cross-team collaboration to move plans to execution.
• Set high standards for storytelling quality across the program.
