Job summary

Valor Contracting is seeking a Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) to develop and manage CPM schedules for commercial construction projects. You will forecast timelines, analyze progress, and lead schedule reviews with PMs, subs, and clients.

This in-office role emphasizes resource loading, schedule risk, and recovery planning to keep projects on track. A strong background in CPM scheduling and Primavera P6 is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years scheduling experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining CPM schedules for large scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of resource loading, earned value concepts, schedule forecasting, and delay analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update resource loaded project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create baseline schedules for preconstruction and execution phases.
• Analyze project progress and schedule performance against milestones and objectives.
• Identify critical path activities, constraints, and risks.
• Lead schedule review meetings with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
• Develop look ahead schedules, milestone reports, narratives, and executive reports.
• Perform schedule impact analyses related to changes and delays.
• Support the preparation of time extension requests and related docs.
• Develop recovery and acceleration plans when behind schedule.
• Validate subcontractor schedules and integrate into master schedules.
• Monitor resource loading, productivity trends, and forecast schedules.
• Recommend process improvements and scheduling best practices.
• Maintain schedule documentation and ensure contract compliance.
