Atlantic Health Strategies in the greater Atlanta area seeks a compassionate Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary clinical team. The role is full-time and on-site, delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on dual-diagnosis treatment and evidence-based modalities.

Candidates should be actively pursuing licensure, have a Master's in a relevant field, and be registered or associate licensed in Georgia.

Competenze

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Active registration or associate licensure in Georgia and working toward full independent licensure.
• Experience with veterans or military-connected individuals in clinical practice or background.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to engage clients with complex, co-occurring presentations.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered and culturally responsive care.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation.

Mansioni

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches (CBT/DBT/EMDR).
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and clinical consultations.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to support continuity of care.
• Engage in clinical supervision as part of licensure progression.
• Support dual-diagnosis treatment across mental health and substance use presentations.
• Uphold program standards and Georgia licensing requirements.
