Promises Behavioral Health in Atlanta is seeking a Full-Time Primary Therapist to provide individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention and psychoeducation to clients and families.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in a counseling-related field, licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT), at least three years of experience in social work or related field, and experience with addictions or mental health, using DBT, CBT and Family Systems.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or PhD in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure required.
• At least 3 years of experience in social work or related field.
• Experience with addictions and/or mental health treatment.
• Proficiency in DBT, CBT, and Family Systems interventions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Provides clinical services including individual, group and family therapy, crisis intervention services, primary process groups, psychoeducation presentations and experiential learning groups for clients and families.
• Provides oversight of residential facilities.
• Provides clinical consultation for clients and their families, and referents upon request.
• Provides psychosocial assessments, treatment plans and clinical discharge summaries.
• Works closely with clinical case manager and family therapist to provide comprehensive client care.
