Job summary

CATCH Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Primary Therapist for Penrose Place, a 16-bed Long-Term Structured Residence for adults with serious mental illness.

You will manage an assigned caseload, develop person-centered treatment plans, support residents during crises, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team. • Master's degree from an accredited institution in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• At least two years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience with adults with serious mental illness.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy and completing clinical assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Complete biopsychosocial and other required assessments and maintain an assigned clinical caseload.
• Develop, implement, review, and update individualized treatment plans and measurable recovery goals.
• Provide individual therapy and facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention and coordinate next steps with nursing, psychiatry, program leadership, and outside providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, reassessments, and transition documentation.
• Coordinate hospital follow-up, admissions evaluations, community resources, therapeutic outings, and continuity of care.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings, supervision, utilization review, program meetings, and required training.

The Primary Therapist provides individual and group treatment for residents of Penrose Place, a 16-bed Long-Term Structured Residence for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. You will manage an assigned caseload, develop person-centered treatment plans, support residents during crises, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team and community providers.

What you'll do

• Strong clinical judgment, crisis-intervention, documentation, organization, communication, and care-coordination skills.
