BriteLife Recovery is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver individualized, evidence-based treatment in our outpatient programs (PHP/IOP/OP). The role involves clinical assessment, treatment planning, and a range of individual, group, and family therapies.

Flexibility for daytime and evening sessions, with in-person and virtual service delivery, is required. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, level-of-care determinations, and coordinated discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field required.
• New Jersey professional credentials to provide clinical services.
• Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Experience providing individual and group counseling.
• Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong documentation, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Assess needs and levels of care using ASAM criteria.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy across PHP/IOP/OP.
• Coordinate care and document in the electronic health record.
• Develop discharge and transition plans to support continuity.
• Participate in meetings, supervision and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain caseload and schedule across programs; support daytime/evening hours.
