Job summary

Victory Bay Recovery Center in Woburn, MA is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide full-time clinical services. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a treatment facility.
• Associate licensed therapist required.
• CPR and Narcan certifications included.

Responsibilities

• Assess the counseling needs of the client.
• Assessing client for substance abuse and mental health diagnosis using DSM, PHQ-9 and Columbia Scale criteria.
• Review previous records relevant to current treatment episode.
• Prepare and provide substance abuse counseling and co-occurring portions of the treatment plan.
• Develop discharge/continuum of care plans for appropriate movement of care.
• Document all client records, counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow-up.
• Coordinate support services for client/family and record services in the clinical record.
• Contact/referral with sources (legal, school, employer).
• Facilitate interventions using a multi-disciplinary approach for assigned clients.
• Facilitate group sessions.
• Document: discharge, individual sessions, weekly calls, level changes, group sessions, plans.
