Job summary

Victory Bay Recovery Center in Massachusetts seeks a licensed or associate licensed therapist to provide clinical services, manage a caseload of at least 14 clients, and facilitate four groups weekly focused on coping skills and emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients with substance use and mental health needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and notes.
• Coordinate with family or support members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess counseling needs and determine level of care.
• Use DSM, PHQ-9, and Columbia scales to assess diagnoses and plan treatment.
• Review prior records to inform current treatment episode.
• Develop substance abuse counseling portions of the treatment plan.
• Create discharge/continuum of care plans to ensure appropriate movement of care.
• Document all client records, services, assessments, referrals and follow-up.
• Coordinate with referral sources such as legal, school, or employer.
• Facilitate crisis interventions and group sessions.
• Document discharge, sessions, weekly calls, and treatment plan changes.
