Job summary

Ambrosia Behavioral Health in Port Saint Lucie is seeking an Adolescent Primary Therapist to deliver evidence-based clinical care to teens. You will conduct individual, group, and family therapy, align with treatment plans, and coordinate services to support recovery in a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

This role requires a Master’s degree and Florida licensure or intern status, with 1–2 years of outpatient or hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Florida licensure or registered intern status (RMHCI, RCSWI, LMHC, or LCSW).
• 1–2 years of outpatient, day treatment, residential, or hospital experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of family systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent comprehensive clinical care to adolescents.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with treatment plans.
• Coordinate all services for patient care and assist in crisis intervention.
• Effectively communicate relevant clinical information to the patient, family, group, and staff.
• Complete all documentation according to company and regulatory requirements.
• On-call responsibility on a rotating schedule with all clinicians.

Adolescent Primary Therapist

• Primary Therapist is responsible for providing excellent comprehensive clinical care to adolescents.
• Conducts individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with written treatment plan based upon assessed needs.
• Coordinates all services for patient care and assists in crisis intervention.
• Effectively communicates relevant clinical information to the Patient, family, group, and Ambrosia staff.
• Completes all documentation according to Company and regulatory requirements.
• On call responsibility on a rotating schedule with all Clinicians.

Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related healthcare field required.
