Job summary

Ambrosia Behavioral Health in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team focused on behavioral health for adolescents and adults.

The ARNP will diagnose and treat mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, prescribe psychotropic medications, and collaborate with a diverse care team to develop individualized plans. DEA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification as PMHNP (preferred).
• Experience working with adolescents required.
• DEA registration required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments for adolescent and adult patients.
• Diagnose and treat mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and treatment teams.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical reviews.

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and patient-focused Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our growing, multidisciplinary clinical team.

**This role is in West Palm and Port St Lucie**

Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Medical Director, conduct psychiatric and medical assessments for adolescent and adult patients
• Diagnose and treat mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in compliance with regulations
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and side effects
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and treatment teams
