Venture Behavioral Health in Morris Plains, NJ seeks a Primary Therapist to manage a mixed caseload of mental health and substance use clients. You will provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure coordinated care.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ license (LCSW or LPC) and a Master's in counseling or social work, with experience in co-occurring disorders.

The Role

We're looking for a Primary Therapist to carry a mixed caseload of clients with mental health and substance use needs. You'll provide individual and group therapy, build strong treatment plans, and work with a collaborative clinical team. We value clinicians who are flexible and comfortable working across programs.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual and group therapy to clients with mental health and substance use needs
• Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with the clinical team on care and discharge planning
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation
• Assess for risk and respond to crisis situations with calm, sound judgment
• Help cover other programs as needed

What You Bring

• Active, independent clinical license in New Jersey (LCSW or LPC preferred)
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field
• Experience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

• $75,000 to $80,000 annually
• Health insurance, with the employer covering 50% of the premium
