Job description

We are looking for primary school teachers in Hook/surrounding areas!

Location: Hook, Hampshire.

Contract type: Full time, permanent.

Salary: £130 to £220 a day (Depending on experience)

About the role:

• Strong classroom management skills, ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences, maintain a safe environment, and adapt to different situations.
• Prepare teaching materials, set up the classroom, and organise displays.
• Plan and teach lessons, work with small groups of students.
• Mark work and communicate with parents and carers about children's progress.
• Manage the work of teaching assistants.
• Organise trips, after-school clubs, and sports events.
• Attend meetings and training outside of usual working hours.
• Adapt to different subjects and grade levels as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to support student needs.

Requirements for the role:

• Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK.
• Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Teaching experience in a primary or secondary school.
• Willing to cover multiple subjects.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Overseas police check if lived outside the UK for over 6 months in the last 5 years.
• References from previous schools within the last 5 years.
• Specialisation in one or more subjects.
