Job summary

Nederland Elementary in the Boulder Valley School District is seeking a licensed elementary teacher to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction and to support student growth through differentiated, evidence-based practices.

The 0.50 FTE position is a limited-term role through 05/24/2027 with a 186-day, 12-month schedule starting October 5, 2026. Applicants must hold Colorado licensure and meet READ Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Colorado teaching license or active licensure in process.
• Endorsement in Elementary Education or ECE for K-2.
• READ Act Designation required if literacy instruction is provided.
• BVSD online application must be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning experiences and teach the course of study per district curriculum, using differentiated strategies to meet student needs.
• Use a data-driven approach to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and interventions.
• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment and maintain communication with families and guardians.
