Term Time Only 27.5 hours a week + 3 Cleaning Days

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5.5 hours a day, between 7:30am & 2:30pm (flexible)

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook meals, including catering for special dietary needs
2. Oversee cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas
3. Manage stocktaking and ordering of supplies
4. Maintain and monitor budgets effectively
5. Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Management System
6. Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
7. Serve meals to students and staff
8. Utilize IT systems for daily operations
9. Foster positive relationships within the school community
10. Motivate, develop, and support staff to reach their full potential
11. Ensure allergen information is correctly displayed and food preparation follows dietary requirements
12. Previous experience in catering or kitchen management
13. Positive attitude with the ability to be an effective team player
14. Capable of leading and motivating a team
15. Food hygiene Level 2 certification (preferred)
16. Understanding of health and safety procedures
17. Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
