Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, administration, employee relations, or a related field.
  • Experience with employee records, payroll, benefits, onboarding, evaluations, or HR processes preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a hands-on, visible presence throughout the workplace and regularly interact with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Work directly with department supervisors to support employee performance, attendance, communication, and workplace needs.
  • Meet directly with employees and supervisors to understand and address questions, concerns, and workplace issues, following up as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
  • Assist with time and attendance tracking and verification, communicating discrepancies or concerns as appropriate.
  • Assist with phone interviews, candidate communication, and pre-employment processes as needed.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring required documentation and processes are completed.
  • Coordinate New Hire Orientation and other employee-related meetings or training.
  • Assist with 60-day and annual employee evaluations, including tracking, communication, and documentation.
  • Assist with payroll processing and respond to employee payroll-related questions.
  • Assist employees with benefit-related questions and resources, coordinating with appropriate benefit providers.

Location: Fayetteville, AR
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $40,000 – $60,000/annually, dependent on experience, knowledge, and productivity
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Maynard Inc. is seeking a reliable, organized, people-focused PRC Associate with emphasis on Human Resources to join our Primary Resources & Communications (PRC) team. This is a hands-on, employee-facing position that supports employees, department supervisors, and management throughout the organization.

The PRC Associate will help employees navigate workplace resources and HR processes while supporting employee performance, attendance, communication, workplace needs, and company policies and procedures. This position is not limited to administrative or paperwork functions—the successful candidate will maintain a visible and approachable presence in the workplace, interact directly with employees and supervisors, and actively help resolve questions and concerns.

This role requires professional judgment, confidentiality, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support employee relations by listening to concerns, gathering information, documenting appropriately, and helping determine appropriate next steps.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information and workplace matters.
  • Coordinate employment verifications, drug screens, background checks, appointments, interviews, and meetings.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and communicating company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Facilitate effective communication between employees, supervisors, management, and other departments.
  • Participate in employee engagement, company activities, recognition efforts, and workplace initiatives that support a positive company culture.
  • Identify recurring employee or workplace concerns and communicate them to appropriate management.
  • Exercise professional judgment when determining whether an issue can be handled within the PRC department or should be escalated.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with department supervisors, management, and the PRC team.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, administration, employee relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience with employee records, payroll, benefits, onboarding, evaluations, or HR processes preferred.
  • Experience supporting or communicating company policies, procedures, or work instructions preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with policies, procedures, or work instructions preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Formal education or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily an office and employee-facing workplace environment with regular interaction throughout the facility.
  • Must be comfortable walking throughout the workplace to communicate with employees and supervisors.
  • Ability to walk more than 100 yards as needed.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours during a workday.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, pull, and perform other routine workplace movements.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and manufacturing work areas as required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must follow all applicable company safety and workplace policies.
