Job summary

Via Elegante Assisted Living & Memory Care seeks a Certified Caregiver I/Primary Caregiver in Tucson to provide compassionate, high-quality personal care per individual service plans and AZDHS regulations. The role includes ADL support, documentation in EHR, and collaboration with the care team to ensure dignity and safety for residents.

The position requires state caregiver certification, AZ Memory Care certification, 1 year of caregiving experience, and current CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved caregiver certification program covering supervisory, personal, and directed levels of care.
• AZDHS-approved Memory Care Certification with required training within 30 days of hire or proof of completion within prior 12 months.
• Minimum of one year of caregiving experience, preferably with dementia and medication assistance.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification and valid driver’s license or state ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory, personal, and directed care services to residents.
• Assist with ADLs, including vitals, grooming, mobility, toileting, dining assistance, and end-of-life comfort care.
• Deliver care that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.
• Perform light housekeeping and ensure accurate EHR documentation daily.
• Communicate care concerns to leadership and support resident engagement and safety.
