Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs is hiring registered nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to Veterans. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care within an interdisciplinary team to promote health and manage acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, patient education, and thorough EHR documentation in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted RN license in a US state or territory.
• Registration must meet VA qualification standards for nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care following nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for veterans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for holistics care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and VA policies.
