Job summary

Responsibilities include following 5 rights of medication administration, conducting assessments, triaging, educating patients, coordinating care with physicians, and advocating for patients

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of RN experience.
• Graduate of board approved RN program with 750 clock hours of supervised clinical experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Colorado RN license.
• BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand Kaiser Permanente customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Kaiser Permanente quality, safety, and emergency policies.
• Evaluates health status through data collection and assessment.
• Analyzes reports and records data to identify health care problems.
• Prioritizes patient needs and triages care.
• Reports safety hazards and incidents promptly.
• Administers intravenous therapy and medications as prescribed.
• Coordinates care across health care services and supports physician practices.
• Advocates for patient needs and supports ongoing care planning.
