Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time experience in acute care, ambulatory care or home health/palliative/hospice care.
• Registered Nurse License (California) required and Basic Life Support certification.
• PICC didactic course and recent (within past 3 years) PICC insertion experience is required if administering chemotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Delegates tasks appropriately within scope of practice and demonstrates accountability.
• Develops and contributes to individualized plans of care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitors patient progress and revises plans based on outcomes and progress.
• Ensures accurate nursing documentation and adherence to safety standards.
• Supports patient safety and discharge planning, including patient education.
