Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
• At least 1 year of experience in outpatient or clinical setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient assessments and histories.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors responses.
• Educates patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Performs minor procedures and assists with diagnostic tests.
• Documents care in the EHR and coordinates care with the healthcare team.
