Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a registered nurse to join the Primary Care Resource Team, providing flexible staffing across primary care settings. Responsibilities include immunizations, wellness visits, and support for SLIP sites and After Visit Care.

The RN will use the EMR, follow nursing protocols, and contribute to patient education and transitions of care. Pathways include new graduate residency and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• One year RN experience required.
• Evidence of baccalaureate degree in nursing within five years if RN start date is April 1, 2020 or later.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Administer immunizations and AWVs and support SLIP/AVC sites.
• Provide care across pediatric and adult patients; document in EMR.
• Participate in virtual infectious disease response work as needed.
• Lead and coordinate nursing care within Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model.
