Job summary

Union Community Care in Lancaster, PA is seeking a physician to provide patient-centered primary medical care as part of a collaborative care team. The role supports ABFP-guided practices and requires active engagement in evidence-based medicine to promote whole health within the community.

The physician will examine patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate referrals, while staying current with clinical guidelines and patient education.

Qualifications

• Licensed M.D. or D.O. in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in their specialty.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Works as part of a care team to provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care, using evidence-based medicine.
• Provides primary medical care services to patients in accordance with training, certification, insurance and licensure.
• Refer patients to medical specialists or other sources of service when necessary.
• Prescribes and/or dispenses required medications according to prescriptive authority.
• Performs examinations and formulates treatment plans with appropriate history, physicals, procedures, labs, and referrals.
