Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Wisconsin Rapids seeks a Primary Care Physician to lead a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) providing direct care for Veterans enrolled in Primary Care at the Wisconsin Rapids VA CBOC.

The position offers recruitment/relocation incentives, Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) eligibility, and a CBOP. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility with core residency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide history, physical examination, diagnosis and initiation of medical treatment.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and home health services as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of current clinical methods and participate in professional development.
