Job summary

Proactive MD in Artesia, NM is seeking a Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a Primary Care role. This Direct Primary Care model emphasizes time with patients, preventive care, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• 1+ year of post-residency clinical experience.
• BLS or ACLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Ability to develop relationships with patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care including preventive care.
• Build long-term relationships with a dedicated patient population.
• Conduct physical examinations, health-risk assessments, and medical history reviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Provide education and preventive health guidance.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Patient Advocates, and leadership.
• Support clinic health and wellness goals.
• Serve as a clinical leader for the care team.
• Uphold Proactive MD's Patient Promise to act for the patient's greatest good.
