Job summary

MarillacHealth seeks a board-certified physician to deliver primary medical care across age groups, from newborns to seniors, in outpatient and outreach settings. You will supervise physician assistants, coordinate with NP/PA staff, and ensure comprehensive care through electronic health records while following established protocols.

Responsibilities include overseeing patient care standards, participating in on-call rotations, mentoring staff, and supporting HRSA quality measures.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or D.O. degree required.
  • Board certification in a primary care field required.
  • Colorado physician license and DEA license required.
  • Life Support certification (BLS at minimum).
  • Two years of post-residency clinic experience preferred.
  • Eligible for privileging at local hospital(s).

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical care for patients from newborn to geriatric.
  • Supervise physician assistants and coordinate with NP/PA staff.
  • Maintain medical records using an electronic health records system.
  • Participate in after-hours triage and on-call rotation.
  • Teach and mentor other healthcare personnel and students.
  • Support HRSA requirements and regulatory measures.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control policies.
