We are looking to hire an accomplished Part‑time Primary Care Physician (IM/FM) to join our team in Spring Valley, NY. The Primary Care Physician is responsible for managing a diverse patient panel with multiple co‑morbidities in a busy Federally Qualified Health Center. Care is delivered in collaboration with advanced practice providers, on‑site support staff, with an emphasis on preventative health and quality patient care.

Salary Range

$124,520.76 – $141,621.48 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and developing health care services and treatments within scope.
• Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate and supervise advanced provider clinicians.
• Complete and participate in chart review processes.
• Refer and follow up patients as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the Health Center to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
• Provide clinical supervision of students or new providers, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to students or new providers to develop clinical skills and professional behavior.
• Facilitate educational sessions, workshops, or seminars to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess performance of students or new providers, provide constructive feedback, and document progress.
• Ensure high‑quality patient care is maintained while supervising and mentoring.
• Coordinate educational activities with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree (MD or DO)
• Active or valid New York State medical license and DEA registration; Board certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in HIV care and medication‑assisted treatment (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations in a community health setting
