We are seeking an accomplished, full‑time Primary Care Physician (IM/FM) to join our team in Peekskill, NY. The physician will manage diverse patient panel with multiple comorbidities in a busy Federally Qualified Health Center, delivering care in collaboration with advanced practice providers and on‑site support staff, emphasizing preventative health and quality patient care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and developing health care services and treatment of conditions within scope.
• Diagnose and provide treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with and supervise advanced provider clinicians.
• Complete chart review processes.
• Refer and follow-up patients as needed.
• Collaborate with other Health Center members to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
• Provide clinical supervision of students or new providers, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.
• Mentor and guide students or new providers, helping them develop clinical skills and professional behavior.
• Facilitate educational sessions, workshops, or seminars to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess performance of trainees, provide constructive feedback, and document progress.
• Maintain high-quality patient care while supervising and mentoring trainees.
• Coordinate educational activities with academic institutions and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive learning experiences.

Minimum Education Requirement

Doctorate Degree (MD, DO)

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Active / Valid license as an MD or DO in New York State, DEA registration, Board certification

Specialized Skills & Knowledge

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in HIV care and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse patient population in a community health setting
