Job summary

Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (LTBB) LTBB Clinic seeks a Family Medicine physician to provide outpatient primary care to Native American patients in northern Michigan. Responsibilities include patient encounters, documentation in EPIC, teaching and coordinating referrals with the LTBB care program.

The role requires Board Certification in Family Medicine, MD/DO eligibility, and a minimum seven years of outpatient experience. BLS certification is required; Indian preference applies.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with Board Certification in Family Medicine.
• Minimum seven years of outpatient Family Medicine experience.
• Current physician license and ongoing medical education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care outpatient services for LTBB Clinic patients.
• Document encounters in EPIC within specified deadlines.
• Support mid-level providers, residents, and students during clinical care.
• Coordinate referrals with LTBB Purchased and Referred Care program.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinic policies.
