Job summary

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers in Michigan seeks a Primary Care Staff Physician to provide comprehensive care within a team-based PCMH model. You will conduct exams, diagnose, treat, and document in patient charts, coordinating with other providers.

License in Michigan with a valid DEA is required; postgraduate training in Primary Care/Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, and board eligibility or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Evidence of postgraduate training in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
• Licensed in Michigan with valid DEA; board eligible or board certified preferred.
• 1–2 years in underserved area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient medical care including diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Maintain documentation on patient clinical records.
• Participate in quality assurance activities as assigned.
• Travel between sites as required; assist in program planning and budgets.
