Job description

The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive, value-based healthcare to Medicare patient populations within a highly collaborative network of neighborhood primary care centers. This position is designed for a board-certified or board-eligible physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, committed to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience. As an integral part of a multidisciplinary care team, the Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) is supported by dedicated clinical staff and benefits from advanced technology and innovative care models.

Our organization is committed to delivering equitable healthcare by focusing on preventive medicine, minimizing hospital admissions, and ensuring patient-centered care. The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) will have the opportunity to participate in a value-based care model, where compensation and incentives are closely aligned with quality metrics and patient outcomes. This approach allows physicians to prioritize quality of care over patient volume while benefiting from competitive salary structures and bonus opportunities.

Working in our primary care centers, the Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) will be part of a dynamic team, including scribes, medical assistants, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. With on-site laboratory services, access to specialist consultations via RubiconMD, and a supportive administrative infrastructure, physicians are empowered to focus on patient care. The patient population benefits from transportation assistance within a 5-mile radius and access to community activities that promote overall well-being, such as exercise classes, wellness events, and social gatherings.

The work schedule for this position is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, with regular hours and manageable patient volumes. This allows physicians to devote ample time to each patient, building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering thorough, individualized care. The Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) will manage an average of 13-16 patients per day, ensuring each visit receives the attention it deserves, whether it is a standard appointment or a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.

Professionals joining our team will be eligible for a range of highly competitive benefits, including a physician partnership track, generous paid time off, continuing medical education stipends, and robust health, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Retirement planning is supported through a 401K plan with immediate vesting and company matching. Physicians also receive malpractice insurance coverage and may be eligible for relocation assistance and sign-on flexibility, making this a rewarding and sustainable career path.

The organization values diversity and inclusion, adhering strictly to equal employment opportunity (EEO) standards. Every qualified applicant will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
