Job description

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our innovative, value-based healthcare organization. This is a full-time position focused on providing exceptional preventive care for adults aged 65 and older in a supportive environment that prioritizes quality over quantity. As a Primary Care Physician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on senior health outcomes, leveraging a patient-centered model that allows for longer visits and deeper relationships with your patients, free from traditional RVU pressures.

Our organization is committed to empowering physicians to practice medicine in an integrated care setting, supported by a collaborative team that includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, social workers, lab and pharmacy staff, and referral coordinators. This structure allows you to focus on what truly matters: delivering the best possible care to your patients while maintaining a manageable daily census and visit length.

We welcome applicants with experience in value-based care (VBC), but also provide comprehensive training for those who are new to this model. Our three-week onboarding program includes value-based care principles, documentation best practices, EMR optimization, and integrated care workflow, ensuring you are set up for success from day one.

As a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO), you will care for a patient population primarily composed of Medicare Advantage members, with a strong emphasis on chronic disease management and preventive care. The daily patient volume is intentionally kept low—typically 12 to 15 patients per day—with each visit ranging from 20 to 40 minutes. This approach allows you to provide thorough, personalized care and develop lasting relationships with your patients, contributing to better health outcomes and enhanced patient satisfaction.

Our organization offers a highly competitive compensation structure that recognizes your expertise and commitment to patient care. Full benefits are available from day one, and additional incentives such as performance bonuses and sign-on opportunities further reward your contributions. Malpractice coverage is occurrence-based, and relocation assistance is available for those moving from greater distances.

Our workplace culture is characterized by mission-driven professionals who are passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults. We value strong communication, teamwork, and a collaborative spirit. Physicians who thrive in our environment are those who value building meaningful patient relationships, are comfortable practicing within a value-based care framework, and are motivated to make a positive difference in their community.

This position is based in a vibrant region known for its welcoming communities, affordable cost of living, and access to excellent schools and recreational opportunities. Whether you are an experienced physician or a recent board-eligible graduate, you will find a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning.
