Community LIFE McKeesport, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our geriatrics program. The physician will conduct periodic assessments, oversee specialist and inpatient care, and care for frail elderly participants in an on-site clinic with occasional home or SNF visits.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm plus limited on-call

Summary of Job Duties: Our Primary Care Physician is responsible for periodic and episodic assessment and management of individual participants’ medical conditions, and for oversight of their use of medical specialists and inpatient care. Our Physician typically sees 4-6 patients per day. Patients are seen in our on-site clinic, plus occasional visits to homes or SNFs. The Physician is part of an Interdisciplinary Team who works together to assess, plan care for, and provide service to frail, elderly participants.
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of medicine. Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Fellowship training in geriatrics preferred.
Required Licensure: Must have a current license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania (MD or DO), current DEA license, Medicare provider enrollment, and a valid PA driver’s license.
Required Experience: A minimum of one year of primary care experience with a frail or elderly population.
