Qualifikationen

• Citizenship: United States
• MD/DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in US
• Residency training in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility
• Board certification or eligibility (or PRP pathway as applicable)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Two years of Primary Care experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Coordinate care for a panel of outpatients within the TVHS Primary Care Medical Home
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions in the clinic setting
• Perform histories and physical examinations and document findings
• Order and interpret routine labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests; provide initial interpretations
• Prescribe medications and manage care plans; participate in preventive services
• Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants; serve as preceptor for residents
• Utilize virtual care modalities (telehealth, video visits, secure messaging) to improve access
• Maintain compliance with VA policies and medical staff bylaws
