Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physician to serve as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) at a Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The PCP will manage a panel of patients, coordinate care with a team, and provide comprehensive primary care including chronic disease management and preventive services.

The role requires an MD or DO, an unrestricted US license, and board certification/eligibility in internal medicine or family practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a doctor of medicine or osteopathic degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services in a team-based outpatient setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for adult patients.
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and other specialties within VA.
