Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen (or eligible) and eligible for VA appointment.
• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license.
• Complete residency in an approved core specialty or equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility for Internal Medicine/Family Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered primary care in an outpatient setting.
• Lead multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care coordination.
• Monitor data and reports to improve health outcomes.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Order diagnostic studies and respond to consultations and tests.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatment options.
• Participate in team communications and handle urgent communications as needed.
