Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required or as per VA policy.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency in an accredited core specialty with board eligibility/certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for primary care patients.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Order diagnostic studies including labs, X-rays, ECGs.
• Complete documentation within 48 hours of visits.
• Engage in team communications and patient education.
