Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Physician's license from the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners at time of appointment.
• Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adults in custody.
• Diagnose and manage acute, urgent, and chronic conditions using evidence-based guidelines.
• Collaborate with behavioral health, nursing, and administrative leaders to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide consultation to contract physicians and nurse practitioners; coordinate referrals to specialty care.
• Help review and develop clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care to meet NCCHC/ACA requirements.
