Job summary

St. Cloud VA Health Care System seeks a Primary Care Physician to care for Veterans at the Brainerd Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Brainerd, MN.

The position qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and carries a recruitment incentive for highly qualified applicants. As a member of the Primary Care team, you will provide comprehensive care, coordinate preventive services, and participate in Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US or DC.
• Residency training approved by ACGME or AOA; board eligibility may apply for faculty roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care to Veterans with chronic and acute conditions.
• Manage a patient panel within PCMM guidelines in a team-based model.
• Coordinate preventive services and care plans with PACT teamlets.
• Participate in daily team meetings, chart reviews, and quality improvement.
• Perform administrative duties including documentation per facility policy.
• Cover GAP or urgent care coverage as needed.
