Southeast Medical Group in Georgia is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care, preventive guidance, and patient education within a multi-disciplinary team. The PCP will manage long-term patient relationships and coordinate specialist referrals as needed.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care with a focus on work-life balance, Monday–Friday hours, optional Saturday shifts for bonus, and a base salary plus uncapped bonus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO must be licensed in Georgia.
• Board cert or eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Current Georgia Medical License required.
• Valid DEA required.
• Completion of a family practice/internal medicine residency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Caring, attentive nature.
• Working understanding and support of a managed care environment.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and maintain relationships with various health plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical diagnostic and therapeutic care.
• Refer consultations for specialty care.
• Educate patients on preventive care.
• Treat a wide range of medical conditions and develop long-term relationships with patients.
• Proactively build relationships and recommend external specialists when needed.
• Assume day-to-day supervision of physician assistants/nurse practitioners.
• Schedule and administer follow-up examinations.
• Utilize referral policies and procedures.
• Utilize EMR to document in the Health Record.
