Carbon Health is hiring a Primary Care NP/PA in California for a 4-day work week with no call, weekends, or holidays. You will provide patient-centered care in a national network, supporting clinicians with an AI-powered EHR (CarbyOS) and a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

You will perform histories and exams, manage adult care and women's health, interpret tests, and lead clinic staff while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across a modern healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in the state.
• Current national certification and unrestricted DEA license.
• Minimum 1 year of primary care or similar clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As a vital member of our Primary Care team, you’ll provide patient-centered care while collaborating with colleagues in a high-performing, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform thorough patient histories and physical exams
• Provide basic women’s health services, including Pap smears
• Develop evidence-based workups and treatment plans
• Care for adult patients (no pediatrics)
• Interpret x-rays, lab results, and EKGs
• Manage patient flow efficiently with support from our Central Support team
• Provide leadership for medical assistants and clinic staff
• Consult supervising physicians as needed within scope of practice
• Manage a patient panel with a focus on evidence-based quality care

About You

• Certified NP or PA with an active state license
• Current national certification and unrestricted DEA license
• At least 1 year of primary care or similar clinical experience
• Comfortable providing adult care and basic women’s health services
• Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a passion for patient-centered innovation
• Dedicated to teamwork, transparency, and continuous learningBLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health

Full Time Salary (40 hours per week):

$132,600-$208,700

Carbon Health offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and eligibility for additional incentive bonuses tied to wRVUs and quality performance metrics. Final offer amounts are determined based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
