OptumCare Colorado is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our Broomfield team near Denver in Westminster, Colorado. You will provide full-scope primary care services, exam and treat acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate care with specialists, while documenting in the EPIC EMR with support from a dedicated MA.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted CO state license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • 1+ year working in outpatient primary care (preferred)

Responsabilités

  • Provide full scope primary care services
  • Examine, diagnose and treat patients for acute and chronic conditions
  • Counsel and educate patients and families about conditions
  • Document thoroughly using our EMR system
  • Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and order labs/imaging
  • Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
  • Maintain quality of care standards
  • Supervise Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners as needed
