Job summary

OptumCare Colorado seeks a Primary Care Physician to join the Broomfield team near Denver in Westminster, Colorado. You will provide full-scope primary care in a collaborative clinic, supported by EPIC EMR, AI charting, and an on-site practice team.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted CO state license or ability to obtain before start date.
  • Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain before start date.
  • BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope primary care services.
  • Examine, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
  • Counsel and educate patients and families about health issues.
  • Complete documentation using the EMR system.
  • Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications and procedures.
  • Order labs/imaging and coordinate care with specialists.
  • Maintain quality of care standards and supervise clinicians as needed.
