Qualifications

• Active CO medical license or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Current DEA certificate, or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
• 1+ year of outpatient primary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide full scope primary care services.
• Examine, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions or concerns.
• Counsel and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Complete timely and thorough documentation using our EMR system.
• Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans and coordinate care.
• Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures.
• Coordinate care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services.
• Maintain quality of care standards and documentation timeliness.
• Supervise Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners as needed.

Education

Unrestricted CO state license

Current DEA certificate

BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

1+ year outpatient primary care
