Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Primary Care Physician for two Nassau County, NY locations. The physician will provide comprehensive care across all ages within a well-established FQHC, ensuring quality patient outcomes.

The role requires NY license, board eligibility/certification in a primary care field, and the ability to travel between sites. Interested candidates should be committed to Medicaid populations and preventive care.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Currently licensed and registered as a physician with New York State.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Family Medicine.
• Willingness to travel between two locations.
• Experience serving both school-age and adult populations.
• Preference for Medicaid enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions in a general practice setting.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide immunizations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including appropriate coding.
• Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing practices.
• Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full Time, Monday - Friday. Day shift. Time split between 2 locations.

Our client a well established FQHC in Nassau County, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to add to there team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions in a general practice setting.
