Vogrinc Search Group seeks a Primary Care Physician for a well-established FQHC in Nassau County, NY. The physician will work day shift, Monday to Friday, with duties across two locations, providing comprehensive care to school-age and adult patients.

Candidates must hold an MD, NY license, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Medicine, and be comfortable with travel between sites and regulatory billing obligations.

Qualifikationen

• Experience serving both school-age and adult populations; willingness to travel between two locations.

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in a general practice.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging; manage medications and immunizations.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care; document accurately and code properly.
• Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, quality improvement, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing practices; participate in on-call coverage.

Compensation: $208K-$223K pr/yr

Job Type: Full Time, Monday - Friday. Day shift. Time split between 2 locations.

Our client a well established FQHC in Nassau County, NY is seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to add to there team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of conditions in a general practice setting.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide immunizations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including appropriate coding.
• Participate in peer reviews, clinical education, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and billing practices.
• Participate in on-call and emergency coverage as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Holds a Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school
• Currently licensed and registered as a physician with New York State
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Family Medicine
• Serving both school-age and adult populations
• Ability to travel between 2 locations
• A passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Preferably enrolled in Medicaid
