Job summary

Endo Health, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking an in-house Primary Care Physician to provide longitudinal care for patients starting with GLP-1 treatment.

You will prescribe and monitor GLP-1 therapies, assess treatment response, and help patients overcome practical barriers to care. You will work closely with the founder, engineers, and researchers to review AI-prepared cases, test new workflows, and give product feedback.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active licensure appropriate to the patient population.
• Substantial hands-on experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 medications.
• Desire to treat patients and build software-enabled care with the SF team.
• Ability to explain clinical decisions clearly and provide product feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own longitudinal patient care: assess patients, make treatment decisions, and follow response and tolerability during GLP-1 treatment.
• Build with us every day: collaborate with product and engineering on patient conversations, case review, follow-up, and care coordination.
• Make clinical judgment usable: explain corrections to AI-prepared cases, identify missing information, and create realistic cases for evaluation.
• Close the loop: track outcomes after decisions, surface clinical and access failures, and help improve workflows.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and team to translate clinical insight into product improvements.

Endo is building self-driving healthcare, starting with GLP-1s. We believe patients should be able to delegate the work of getting treated to an AI that knows them over time. That means getting care delivered, following what happens, and using each experience to make the next one better.

The Role

The best ideas for better care often emerge while caring for a patient: a question the system should have asked, a prescription that never arrived, or a change that needed attention sooner. We want a physician in the room with us every day, turning those observations into a product that works better.

As our in-house Primary Care Physician, you’ll care for patients over time, starting with GLP-1 treatment. You’ll bring hands‑on expertise in prescribing and managing these medications, following treatment response and tolerability, and helping patients navigate the practical barriers to care. You’ll own real clinical decisions and see what happens after them.

You’ll also work side by side with the founder, engineers, and researchers in San Francisco. Expect to review AI‑prepared cases, test new workflows, explain where the system missed something, and help build the next version. Patient care and product development are both core parts of this job. Working with our Medical Director, you’ll help turn daily clinical experience into better questions, better follow‑up, and better care.

You will:

• Own longitudinal patient care: assess patients, make treatment decisions, and follow response, side effects, and changing needs through GLP-1 treatment.
• Build with us every day: work directly with product and engineering on patient conversations, case review, follow-up, and care coordination.
• Make clinical judgment usable: explain corrections to AI‑prepared cases, identify missing information, and help create realistic cases for evaluation.
• Close the loop: follow what happened after a decision, surface clinical and access failures, and work with the team to improve the workflow.

You've done this before if:

• MD or DO with active licensure appropriate to the patient population, and a background in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Substantial hands‑on experience prescribing and managing GLP-1 medications, including patient selection, treatment adjustment, tolerability, and longitudinal follow‑up.
• A desire to treat patients and build software‑enabled care together, working closely with our team in San Francisco every day.
• The ability to explain clinical decisions clearly, challenge an AI recommendation, and turn observations into specific product feedback.
• Obesity medicine certification, telehealth experience, or prior collaboration with a product and engineering team.
• Build beside the team. Work daily with the founder, engineers, and researchers, with direct influence on what we ship.
